you control over camera tilt manually or in complex sequences.
With supported DSLR camera bodies, you can control image
sequences like time lapse or stitched panoramas directly from
the mc1. And if your camera position is at the other end of a
ladder, or worse, you can fine-tune your composition with both
feet planted firmly on the ground.
The mc1 is also designed with the future in mind, with easy upgradability and interfaces like bluetooth, USB and flash sync.
The Acadalus mc1 Master Control unit makes your equipment a lot more versatile. This palm sized control unit lets you remotely control your Acadalus camera head and supported DSLR cameras on the 4.3" touch screen. This comes in handy when the best vantage point for your assignment is in a hard-to-reach position. With the touch of a button, the connected Acadalus CPS h1 head will automatically level or adjust the inclination.
The Acadalus CPS-mc1 Master Control unit was developed for photographic applications using motorized equipment. It is based on the latest generation of powerful yet very energy-efficient microprocessors, which is key to increasing the system’s battery life on location. The Acadalus CPS Control Unit features all major interfaces such as Bluetooth, USB, RS 332 and flash sync. Its software can be updated via USB on any computer with updates downloadable from http://www.acadalus.com. The unit can be powered either with an Acadalus Power Supply or an 18.5V Acadalus Lithium Ion Battery Pack.
The Acadalus mc1 Master Control unit combines capture sequences with movements of the camera head. You can start complicated exposure sequences by merely touching the screen. The device is a great help for shooting time lapse movies, HDR images and picture series for special effects if you need to combine predetermined tilt movements of the head with exposures.
